In order for us to get an accurate count of how many students will be attending, we ask that you fill out this registration form as soon as possible. Our intention is that adult chaperones or parent/ guardians will fill out this form on behalf of the students they are registering for the event. Please note that if your students register themselves, the GSA advisor still needs to register themself if they intend to attend the event.  Because we have to do a lot of preparation, we ask that you submit this registration form as soon as possible. You may resubmit this form later on if you receive additional students interested in attending.

Please register students with their school-provided email. In order to keep this event safe for our young people, we will be restricting access to the event to only those whose email addresses are submitted.  If we do not receive a student’s or chaperone/advisor’s email address, or receive an incorrect email address, or receive a non-google compatible email address, the student or chaperone/advisor will not be able to enter the site. Please double check that you are submitting all the necessary email addresses. If you need to add additional email addresses at a later date, you may contact Claire Cummins at ccummins@ppncs.org or re-submit this form any time between now and 24 hours before the event. We appreciate your promptness in filling out this form as soon as possible so we can accurately plan for the needs of our students.

Finally, to add simplicity to this chaotic year, we’ve decided to make the event free for 2020.  While the operating costs of this year were reduced, we still very much rely on donations to make this event and future Q-Quests possible. If you are inclined and have the budget, please consider donating the suggested $5 per student for this event.  Free will donations can be made here through GiveMN.  If you would like to pay the $5 student fee and would like an invoice (for example, if you are registering through a school), please Claire Cummins at ccummins@ppncs.org.

WORKSHOPS: We are looking for a wide variety of workshops appropriate for middle school and high school youth. Click here to access Request for Workshop Form.

VENDORS: A key piece of Q-Quest is the participation of local institutions and organizations that uplift and support LGBTQ youth, young adults, caretakers, and allies.Although we can’t be together in person this year, we are working hard to make Q-Quest fun, exciting, creative, and informative. We are building several ways for organizations to reach youth throughout the three day virtual event.

  1. A listing in the Vendor Resource section. This includes a brief description of your work/services, a logo, and a link to  your website. For an idea of what this will look like, please visit the MNSOC QT-een Space page: https://sites.google.com/stpaul.k12.mn.us/mnsocqt-eenspace/general-resources
  2. Providing MNSOC with a slide detailing your services and work. These slides will be interspersed into the entertainment during the second and third nights. For an example of how that will look, see the screen shot at the end of this email.
  3. Joining a virtual vendor “room” (includes both Wednesday Nov 18th and Thursday Nov 19th  from 6:30 – 7 PM) with up to four organizations per room where attendees can come interact and ask questions.
  4. Providing MNSOC with a short video (under 1 minute) to be aired during the entertainment during the second and third nights.
  5. Providing MNSOC with a short video (under 1 minute) or slide to be shown at the beginning of opening night keynote by Ericka Hart. Also includes a listing on the landing page of the Q-Quest conference site.
