Minnesota School Outreach Coalition

Hello, we’re so glad that you’re here. We are the Minnesota School Outreach Coalition- a collection of organizations committed to the wellbeing, joy, and successes of LGBTQIA+ youth in Minnesota. Queer youth are being targeted now, more than ever, for simply existing. Through events, resources, and community opportunities, MNSOC supports queer youth in showing up exactly as they are, in ways that feel safe and authentic to them. At our events, we celebrate youth, their multiple and intersecting identities, and the connections that keep them thriving. The landscapes, identities, language, and resources that surround queerness are constantly changing, and we’re here to adapt along with it, while also providing an anchor of dependability. 

As a Coalition, MNSOC meets regularly to navigate community needs, support our partners, and plan for upcoming events. The three events that MNSOC hosts every year are Queer Youth Prom, Youth Pride, and Q-Quest. All of our events prioritize the safety of our youth attendees, and the accessibility of all of our guests. We continually welcome feedback from our community to ensure that our events stay safe and relevant, and that our community members feel supported and heard.
