How to Donate
We welcome donations of any kind to help us with the great work that MNSOC does! Your support helps make a difference in the lives of LGBTQIA+ youth in Minnesota. Our three events of the year rely heavily on donations in order to succeed. Donating financially, as well as in-kind donations, and donations of time via volunteering, are all greatly appreciated. How Funds Are Used
In addition to funds that are donated to MNSOC, we also receive funding through MNSOC partners, event sponsorship, registration fees, as well as fees charged to organizations that table at our events. Using these funds, we are able to create events that we hope are inclusive, fun, and fulfilling to attendees. Below are a few of the many items that our funding covers:

Art and entertainment
Promotional materials
Space rentals
Website fees
In addition to ensuring our events are inclusive, fun, and fulfilling, MNSOC takes very seriously our need to create welcoming, safe, and inclusive spaces. These commitments cost us money that we are very happy to spend.
Having ASL interpretation at every event is a commitment that we make to our LGBTQIA+ communities with intersecting identities and abilities.
Security is a growing need in queer spaces as the number of attacks, both political and physical, on queer and trans people continue to grow. However, we also recognize the historic, systemic, and continued harm that police presence brings to marginalized communities, in particular Black, Indigenous, and other people of color. We work with private, queer security with the intention of protecting our queer and BIPOC youth.
